Horizon Hosting - Notice history

We have noticed that the network has been stable now for a while. The provider had found a second break in the fibre cable, so the issue took longer to resolve.

The provider are continuing to work on a fix for this incident. They are currently repairing the final part of the fibre cable, and they expect to have services restored by 14:30 GMT.

We have spoken to our provider and the issue has been identified as a broken fibre cable in New Jersey, for one of the upstream networks. They are working on a repair and hope to have it completed within an hour from the time of writing.

This incident has been resolved. We are working with our network provider to establish a cause for this incident.

We have monitored the system through the night and we are not seeing any more issues. Thank you for your patience.

We have now resolved this incident. This was caused by a router failure - we are continuting to speak with out network provider to find out what caused this and how they can prevent this in future.

We have heard from the network provider and this outage is caused by a bad batch of hardware at our network provider, which was deployed during the maintenance last night. While the panel is currently up, we are expecting more downtime while the connection is moved to the old hardware.

It appears to have come back online now and we are monitoring the situation.
